Description
The population of Africa is seriously threatened by the current coronavirus pandemic.
The Africa Family Life Federation (AFLF) is present in 20 French and English speaking African countries. Thanks to this money, it will provide funds for the sewing workshops held by its members, for the manufacture of masks - according to WHO standards - and in large quantities: purchase of fabrics, hiring of seamstresses, maintenance of equipment.
For the masks to be effective it is important and necessary that they be changed and washed every day. Several masks per person should be provided.
This AFLF action is supported by the Réseau Vie.
This project was initiated by René and Isabelle Ecochard. They coordinate the action between Europe and the African Federation of Family Action. They know the Federation's correspondents on the spot, having been there on numerous occasions. They will see to the proper routing of the funds collected and will monitor their use.
The Réseau Vie (life network) federates movements in favour of Life in Rhône (France). It lists, supports and publicises all the initiatives in favour of Life in its region.
Réseau Vie collects money following the example of Pauline Jaricot, a young 18th century Lyonnaise woman, inviting each person to donate 1 euro per week.
Its activity is rooted in prayer.
